The management team here is lame, move on. There are so many better options out there even right there in Rocky Mount. Rocky Mount has a more country feel and the prices are better than other places like Fayetteville but it's geared towards a younger crowd. Just be aware you need to earn 4 times the monthly rent, most places require 3 times but here they think they are better for 4 times, good luck if you're on a fixed income.

A new job brought me to the Rocky Mount area. As a young woman, I was nervous after hearing things about Rocky Mount. I looked everywhere and decided on Wildwood Trace. The staff is very professional and helped me with all my move in needs. I have a golf course view apartment with the newer stainless steel appliances and absolutely love it. There is a great mixture of people but a lot of young professionals like myself. I definitely recommend Wildwood Trace!

I have lived in Wildwood Trace for over three years. For the most part, my experience has been a good one but the apartments do leave much to be desired. Yes, out of all the apartment complexes in the Rocky Mount-area this is the best you'll get; however, it leaves A LOT to be desired. The stove in my apartment is from the mid-80s and has probably been in my apartment since they first opened. Additionally, the kitchens and bathrooms definitely need some updating. Like the other reviewer said the... kitchens are extremely small and two people cannot fit in it at one time. My biggest complaint is the lack of urgency on the part of the on-call maintenance manager. Last summer I told her that my toilets were overflowing and she said she wasn't going to call a plumber in the middle of the night (it was only 9PM) to correct the issue. My whole laundry room, kitchen, and dining room flooded, which resulted in carpeting having to be replaced and me having to deal with a moldy smell for weeks. If you move here be sure that you move into a unit that does not young children living it because the walls are paper thin and nothing says good morning like your neighbors' children screaming down the hallway. Overall, the apartment complex is well maintained and there are nice amenities available (pool, fitness center, laundry room, and a dog park). I would recommend Wildwood Trace to a field but I would definitely explain the caveats.

I realize the apartments are in business to make money, but these apartments are charging ridiculous prices for the size of the apartments. I could barely turn around in my kitchen. I think they use trailer home-sized cabinets in the kitchen, because my Rubbermaid utensil tray was too wide to fit in the cabinet. I lived in many apartments before, and I never had that happen.
One time, my rent (from bill pay from my bank) was lost in the mail. They wanted me to pay another month's rent and... wait to get the second payment back from the bank. I had paid all my rent on time, I had paid it on time then (I had it automatically set up to be paid each month) and they got all legal right away, with wording about evicting me.
The apartments are in a nice setting, but they really wring out every last dollar from you for the "privilege" of living there. Avoid it if you want to come away with any money left, or if you want an apartment that's really the size the company says it is.
