Don’t live here
In my experience, Willows Glen is not a place I would recommend living. Much of the property feels outdated, and our experience with management and maintenance was extremely frustrating.
We dealt with a mold issue in the ceiling for years, and the only action taken was painting over the large visible spot rather than properly addressing the underlying problem. We also asked about draining the hot water heater because the water had started to feel unpleasant, and we were told that could not be... done while we were living there.
When we decided to move, we missed the notice deadline by just four days and were charged for an additional full month. The office uses an automated system that is supposedly intended to send reminders, but we were later told that those reminders are not sent for short-term leases. That would have been useful information to know ahead of time, especially since my previous leases had provided those notices.
After living there for six years, we also did not receive our full security deposit back. One of the reasons given was that the carpet supposedly had “one year and 26 days of life left.” Considering the carpet had not been replaced during our entire six-year tenancy—and we had a pet—that explanation was incredibly frustrating.
There were other issues as well, but those are some of the main ones. The lower rent may seem appealing, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. I would strongly recommend looking into other options before choosing to live here.

Dear Anonymous,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take concerns regarding the condition of our homes and communication seriously, and we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We understand that unexpected charges can be... frustrating. However, residents are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of their apartment throughout their residency, including addressing any pet-related damage. Any charges assessed at move-out are based on the documented condition of the apartment and the applicable terms of the lease.
We strive to apply these standards fairly, consistently, and in accordance with our policies for all residents. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best moving forward.
Warm Regards,
Jennifer
