34 Eden Lane

I recently moved into 34 Eden Lane in Whippany.
I came from a townhome in Madison. I was a bit concerned about the transition from a multi level, private home to an apartment complex, but I am here to say that I love it!
From the initial tour through move-in, the experience has been excellent. The onsite manager is a pleasure to work with- she has been responsive, kind and professional.
The building is relatively new and has well maintained, luxury amenities such as a beautiful seasonal... pool, gym, club house, outdoor gathering space and pet spa. The aesthetic is modern and sleek. It is immaculately clean. There is an onsite maintenance team. I have not yet had to request services, but I can already see that they are professional, prompt and competent.
Having a spacious, single floor unit is a nice change- so easy to clean. All units have a modern vibe with glossy white and wood tone kitchens, huge windows and very nice, modern window blinds. I would say that window treatments are not necessary unless you want bedroom black out blinds. The units have high end amenities including Whirlpool washers and dryers, tankless water heaters, Pella windows and Moen bath hardware.
I read reviews before making a decision. Some tenants complained about noise between apartments. I can only speak for my experience, but it has been quiet. I am on the third floor-there is someone above me and I can sometimes hear footsteps, but this is apartment living and I am not at all bothered by that. No noise at all from the unit below me. The hallway vibe is peaceful and quiet.
The building is serviced by 3 elevators- one close to the covered parking garage, one from the lobby and another leading down to the move-in, recycling and trash areas. Getting rid of garbage has never been so easy- drop smaller bags down from the floor’s garbage room or take larger items directly down to the large bins. Movers and furniture delivery services have access to this elevator as well- I have had no problems fitting larger pieces into the elevator.
Lastly, the building size is ideal. I looked at other rentals that had hundreds of units to only 1 pool or gym. With 81 units, we don’t have that issue here thankfully.
The online photos don’t really do the units justice. This really is very nice.
