Palermo Apartments

I lived here for almost two years, always paid my rent on time, took great care of the apartment, and only moved because I bought my first home. Unfortunately, the move-out process completely changed my opinion of this place.

It felt like management was looking for every possible way to add extra charges instead of treating a good resident fairly.

I was charged for cleaning, even though I hired a professional cleaning company the day before moving out. I was also charged for carpet shampooing,... despite leaving the carpet spotless. They even charged me for missing blind slats, although I have photos and a move-out video proving nothing was missing.

I was also charged a $50 renter's insurance fee even though I had valid State Farm coverage before the deadline. My insurance agent personally contacted the office and sent proof, but they still refused to remove the charge.

Communication is terrible. Everything goes through AI systems or voicemail, and reaching someone who can actually help takes days or weeks. When I finally spoke with management, there was no effort to resolve anything only warnings that if I didn't pay, my account would be sent to collections.

As a tenant, it left me feeling like disputing unfair charges wasn't worth it because the cost of fighting them would be much higher than simply paying them.

I have only been living here for 3 months and until now everything is going very well I am happy because they are very clean apartments, very well cared for, they have a very good size, very quiet I really love living here and my child's school is on the side, what more can I ask for ?? Congratulations Palermo for keeping your apartments clean and with a super good evaluation

I have lived here since 2017 and I love it. The grounds are kept clean and the apartment is a nice size. For me cleanliness is the key. Whenever I had a maintenance issue they fixed it the same day. The office staff would work with me when I needed it and always made me feel comfortable. Just putting it out there. Nice place to live.

I live here for 2 years now, and I'm not renewing the lease when is due. I've found cockroaches, scorpions, in my kitchen and bedroom. Neighbors are rude and noisy, not to mention countless times fellow neighbors and visitors park their cars on other's designated lots. Dog feces everywhere.

For the price they charge, there are plenty of other properties in the area way better than Palermo.
