They take care of things pretty quickly! What I like most is the floor plan. the living room is big and we have good amount of natural light.

NICE
The place is comfortable, quiet, and safe, with friendly and respectful neighbors. The manager is also very kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with.

Poor Management
The community itself is wonderful. Nice, quiet and respectful neighbors. However, management isn't. They're quite petty and unprofessional. Once they've caught a grudge they proceed to treat you in accordance to that. They'll post multiple coopies of your account balance on your door for all of the building to see. Because apparently the concealed notice they've sent through the mail isn't enough. They'll also refuse your entry into their office upon moving out and deny you the ability to... discuss the final inspection notes with them. Again, these actions are based on their indecent feelings toward you, once they feel like you're on their bad side. The community itself truly is a nice one but even the rent they're charging for cheap pant on the bathroom tub, the spotty paint job throughout the apartment and the somewhat makeshift architecture of the apartment is a bit overpriced.

Paige, Thank you for the compliments re Colonies' wonderful, quite and respectful community! We work very hard to ensure all our residents have that same experience. We enjoyed having your daughter Taylor as a resident. Because the rent was... chronically late for the last 5 months of your lease, you received the NYS required late notices, via door, regular and certified mail each month you were late. We strictly follow our attorney's direction for placement. In addition, as stated and listed on our door, we are more than happy to meet with anyone re their move out inspection results, we just require an appmt. When you arrived, we were in other appmts. You chose not to schedule a meeting or call. Your account was just sent to collections because you did not pay the last month's rent before moving out nor over the last several months, despite your written assurances to do so. We hope this clears things up for you. We wish you the best of luck in the future.

Colonie is a great home!
My daughter loves living at Colonie in her spacious 1 bdrm apt! She’s been there for 4.5 yrs and feels happy, safe and comfortable.

It’s a very good place
Rented for less than a year but the experience was great and the vie team(property management firm) are amazing people. The apartments are in great condition and the amenities are great. The gym is good! Overall would recommend to everyone!
