Portage Pointe Apartments

As someone who has lived here for over ten years I cannot recommend this place anymore. Management has made some truly indefensible changes over the past few years. Tenants are no longer allowed to choose their own internet provider, everyone is required to have Spectrum at an inflated price of $75 per month. Even if you don't want internet service, you're still paying for it. This is on top of a $25 monthly fee for water (I believe it's per person) regardless or how much water is actually... used. The washing and drying machines can only be used via smart phone app so anyone without a smartphone is SOL. You don't get much considering the price of each apartments. The buildings are old, the floors/walls are incredibly thin and I've had to request work on my HVAC system several times (They do at least fix things in a timely fashion). The cost to break your lease has also been changed. Instead of paying two months rent in advance, the price is now an astronomical $4,000. I have lived here for almost 5 years and I absolutely love it! Amazing amenities, staff and neighbors. The apartments are beautiful inside and outside! So peaceful!

I have lived in Portage Pointe for 27 years and I have no plans to leave! The staff is so friendly and maintenance is on it!

First impressions went a long way when my wife and I decided to rent here. We've never come across a more welcoming and inviting staff in all our previous renting experience. Since signing our lease in 2016, they've handled any issues we've had with the unit within a day (two at most). If you ever need anything, just ask, they will do whatever's within their reach to accommodate you. I wholeheartedly recommend this community if you want to be treated like a human not just a unit number.

Coming from a college student who has lived in almost a dozen different places, Portage Pointe apartments are the absolute best! The office staff are so helpful and friendly, the maintenance staff gets back to you right away, everything feels so clean and updated, and it feels so safe here! Wonderful place to live - no need to look anywhere else :)
