Please be aware that the property is located next to a commercial street (35 mph zone) and faces a quiet street (20 mph zone), so road noise can be noticeable at times. A white noise machine and box fans are provided to help mitigate this. Parking to the right of the cottage is reserved for the house next door. Smoking or vaping is permitted outdoors only, with a minimum charge of $500 for any indoor violations. Guests are responsible for any damages caused by pets and must clean up after them, with a $50 fee for uncleaned pet waste. All overnight guests must be listed on the reservation, and written permission is required for additional overnight guests. Children under 13 should not be left unattended. Guests may not have more than 8 people in the home at any time. For stays of 30 days or more, initial paper products and cleaning supplies are provided, but guests are responsible for restocking once they run out. Bodily fluid cleanup will result in an additional $500 cleaning fee, and only toilet paper should be flushed. Guests who fail to follow winter weather preparedness instructions, such as leaving water dripping and cabinets open under sinks, may be responsible for damages from frozen or burst pipes. There is no snow removal service at the property. Guests who do not take trash out on trash day will pay a $50 disposal fee.
