Take an 8-minute stroll through the quaint surrounding neighborhoods to Cathedral Coffee and enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee or tea and scone or muffin.

Attending school or are a faculty member? University of Portland is a quick 4-minute drive or 7-minute bike ride or head East to find the Portland Community College Cascade campus. Lease Terms:
* Lease: 6-18 months (short term leases are offered at a premium rent rate)
* Security Deposit: One months rent (on approved credit and screening)
* Utilities: Flat rate monthly fee for water, sewage, and garbage
* Application Fee: $50 per adult applicant 18+ years
* Pet Policy: $25/month per pet- dog breed restrictions apply and we accommodate dogs up to 50 pounds. Cats are permitted. Documentation for Emotional Support or Service animals will need to be provided to waive fees and restrictions. We accommodate up to two (2) pets. A pet is defined as a "domestic or tamed animal kept for companionship or pleasure".

It is the responsibility of the interested persons to confirm the layout, square footage, amenities, etc. Screening will consist of a background and credit check. If you have a credit score of 700 or better and meet our other screening requirements, the security deposit for the studio will be reduced to $650 and the security deposit for a 1-bedroom will be reduced to $1,000.

Sound Insulation - A travesty

I have now stayed at two different apartments in this same complex, due to one of the members burning their apartment down and the resulting damage requiring me to move. I was quite satisfied with my apartment, so I thought moving into an identical one right down the hall would be no issue.

If you're renting here, be absolutely sure that you're in the half not facing Lombard. Be absolutely sure that your neighbors don't have socialization patterns that keep them talking throughout the night....
There is no sound insulation to speak of. I can hear murmurs of conversations and movies of an apartment that has two other apartments in between my unit and theirs. I was able to be blissfully ignorant of this in my first apartment, and in that one I would have rated this complex as the best one I've ever lived in. Now, it's middle-bottom.

If sound isn't an issue for you, you should have no problems here.

Hello, I'm sorry to hear that your experience in the other apartment has not been as great as in your first. If you are having issues with neighbors not adhering to quiet hours, please email the property manager and she will contact them directly.... Not all apartment complexes are soundproof and during the build of this property, the owners used the insulation that is up to code. There is an opportunity for you to transfer back to your original apartment after the repairs are completed should you wish to do so. Please contact the property manager for more information if you're interested in this option.
