The Meridian Apartments

The Meridian has become a sanctuary for me during a transitional time in my life. My one-bedroom apartment is well-appointed and I appreciate the gated, covered parking and secure storage. Best of all, I can have my old dog here. There are lots of nice places to walk nearby, including Bush Park.

I’m rarely bothered by my neighbors’ noise, though the traffic can be irritating at times. I value quiet and am pleased that the place is designed to ensure comfort in this regard. The Meridian can’t... do anything about the people who eschew mufflers on their vehicles.

The neighbors I’ve met are generally friendly. It seems lots of single folks live here, as well as some couples. There is a group chat that gives the place a sense of community. This is an all ages place, though I have seen very few kids here. (I like kids but I am also glad that this is more of an adult living environment.)

What makes The Meridian stand out for me is the staff. Annie, Mitch, Jorge, and Amanda have been remarkable. Any little issue I have is dealt with swiftly and with a positive attitude. This customer service goes a long way. It seems like they know each of us personally and act as if they truly care about our well-being.

The apartments are pricier than others I looked at in town. But you get what you pay for, and if you value living in a place that is safe, clean, and in a great location, then you might consider living here.

The downsides, and The Meridian can’t control any of them, are limited to the normal kinds of things to be expected living in a city: outdoor noise, people who have seen better days, the excitement of the gas station/mini market that runs all night, and guest parking that can be limited during the week due to the co-location of professional offices here.

I chose this apartment from those in Hillsboro, Bethany, Tualatin and Wilsonville. This apartment is very close to downtown, hospital and fabulous bakery a few blocks away.
It offers superior soundproofing, interior quality better than most apartments, more like a condo. I don't miss being out of the techno corridor, love my view and quiet living here.

Moved in recently. Parking is secure. Building is very secure. Property manager is prompt and attentive. Trash/mail/recycling all indoors. Feels like an upscale boutique hotel.

This was a great place to start my life in Salem! My apartment was big and beautiful with great upgrades, the neighbors were kind, the location was the best- easy to walk downtown to lot of great places to eat, drink, do yoga, Farmer's Market, parks and shops. Elaine, Jonathan and all staff were always helpful, prompt in attention to my needs and easy to communicate with. The site Manager Elaine is a control freak. I do not recommend anyone living at the Meridian. If you have a problem, she cannot handle it, therefore you are on the her bad side, and she will find a way to get rid of you! The Meridian building is not being kept very well. Good luck if you want to live at the Meridian!
