1960’s VIBE

If you’re looking to relive the 1960s, Wynmere Chase is exactly where you want to be—but not in a charming, nostalgic way. This place is old, and not in the “vintage appeal” sense. Everything is in dire need of major repairs. The balconies are falling apart, the walls are cracked and simply painted over again and again, and the appliances are cheap and outdated. It’s a textbook case of putting lipstick on a pig—it’s still a pig.

The landscaping is a mess, maintenance is nearly nonexistent, and...
the office staff is unhelpful, dismissive, and often rude. Any repair request takes weeks—sometimes months—and only gets addressed after repeated calls, emails, begging, and in some cases, threats. You’ll feel like you’re a nuisance just for asking for basic upkeep.

Mice problems? Yes, and they don’t act urgently about that either. The rent is sky-high for what you’re actually getting, which is a crumbling apartment in a complex that clearly hasn’t seen a proper update in decades.

Most tenants move in and then realize quickly they’ve made a mistake. For the same amount of money—or less—you can find a modern, clean apartment where the staff actually cares, maintenance gets things done, and you don’t feel like you’re being scammed.

Avoid Wynmere Chase at all costs. You will regret living here.

Mice Infestation - 6 Months and No Resolution!

DO NOT MOVE HERE – HORRIBLE LIVING CONDITIONS!

For the past six months, my neighbor and I have been battling a severe mouse infestation that began in October 2024, with absolutely no resolution. Despite repeatedly reporting the issue, the office staff and maintenance team have shown complete disregard for our concerns, seemingly only interested in collecting rent while ignoring these hazardous conditions.

Since January, I have been unable to sleep in my own bedroom because mice were coming...
through the walls and leaving droppings in my bed. I was forced to sleep on my couch—until last night, when I came home to find mouse droppings all over my sectional. This is beyond disgusting and unacceptable.

My neighbor and I are at our wits’ end. Mice carry diseases, and we are being forced to live in unsafe, uninhabitable conditions. The lack of action and accountability from management is appalling. If you value your health and sanity, stay far away from these apartments.

Mice Infestation in Apartments: DO NOT RENT!

I would strongly advise against renting at Wynmere Chase Apartments. I’ve been dealing with a severe mice infestation for the past six months, and the management has done absolutely nothing to fix the issue. Mice are a serious health hazard, and I’ve had droppings all over my beds, furniture, and appliances. The maintenance team is completely unresponsive and ineffective when it comes to addressing this problem. I even requested a rent deduction until the issue was resolved, but they told me... that wasn’t an option. It’s incredibly frustrating and unhealthy to live in these conditions, and it’s clear that once a problem arises, you can expect it to drag on for months — if it gets resolved at all. Don’t make the mistake of renting here; you will regret it.

Quality is BELOW STANDARDS!

I have been disappointed with the condition of the properties here. Both the interior and exterior are in desperate need of repairs. The balconies are deteriorating, with rotting wood and peeling paint that rarely gets addressed. Despite the high rent prices, the upkeep is lacking. When a tenant moves out, they may install a new kitchen with updated tile floors, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances, but these cosmetic upgrades can't hide the fact that the walls are old, the carpet... is low-quality, and the blinds are even worse. The justification for annual rent increases is questionable, especially given the poor maintenance. The lawn care and snow removal services are subpar; they rush through the work, often leaving it incomplete, and I frequently find myself cleaning up what they missed. Grass clippings on my car have become a routine annoyance. Additionally, the management neglects exterior cleaning, such as second-floor windows and power-washing the siding, which further diminishes the overall living experience. While small gestures like holiday pies and Halloween candy are nice, they do not make up for the lack of proper maintenance and care. I would much prefer the management to invest in the upkeep of the property, rather than relying on token gifts to show appreciation.

Low Class

The property needs a whole new up grade as they go up on rent. Old appliances and animal smelly dirty carpet. Bathroom ceiling always leaked from the upstairs apartment. All maintenance did was patch up with tape and paint over it.
