Not a good place to live.
I am writing this review after living in the unit for eight months. Based on my experience, I would not recommend it for families.
The condition of the apartment at move-in was not satisfactory. The kitchen cabinets had a plastic wrapping that was peeling off. I reported this to the leasing office with photos on the move-in checklist, but I was informed that this is standard for these units. The overall cleaning was also below expectations.
The maintenance service has been difficult to deal... with. We submitted several work orders, but issues were rarely resolved on the first visit. Most repairs required multiple visits before reaching an acceptable level. There are still ongoing issues, including noise from the washer and a broken door knob on the dryer, which have not been properly resolved.
There have also been recurring issues with insects in the bathroom and kitchen, despite charges for pest control.
I recommend discussing maintenance responsiveness and service expectations with the leasing office before signing a lease

Our team works to address maintenance requests as promptly as possible, and service requests are typically reviewed and scheduled shortly... after they are submitted. In some cases, additional visits may be necessary to ensure a repair is completed properly.
We also want to clarify that Abrams Run does not charge residents a pest control fee; however, pest control services are available and scheduled as needed whenever issues are reported.
We also noticed your review mentioned washer and dryer concerns. Our records show the last appliance request was resolved shortly after move-in; however, if you are currently experiencing an issue, we would be happy to schedule a technician to evaluate it.
