Horrible
litter everywhere, outside and in, kids being very loud outside and through the stairwells, all ages, lots of banging and yelling, fights, crying, twice now I have personally found drug packets in the parking lot. The apt is a dump so you better see it for yourself if they show you one instead that is ‘the same’ model. Maintenance is never allowed to replace something if it works regardless of how poorly or loudly. The lighting in my kitchen and bathroom are like 30 years old, and all the apt... cabinets are old and tattered. Your floor could reek of cat urine and they will deny until the day of your move in—you get what you get the day you move in so you literally have to not move in to show cause for breach so they fix things and do what is supposed to be done as a standard between tenants. Either way, you will still inherit bathroom tub cartoon stickers/anti-slip for children left behind stuck in the tub, clogged drains, holes in window screens, nonfunctioning vents in every room, horrific dishwasher staining, rattling air ducts, squirrels running through the walks and ceiling….
Don’t be bamboozled, don’t be gaslighted, you cannot rely on being understood when reporting problems or rely on them to follow instructions you give about times to enter, also don’t figure they will evict someone who clogs the entire bldg plumbing with soiled cat litter.
Don’t get stuck having to give a full 2 month notice to vacate—which is always greater than 60 days—because nobody holds an apt even for weeks let alone months.
And no, I have excellent credit and credibility. 800+, and all said has been experienced by me, while I guess half of said can be confirmed by neighbors.
Good luck, cuz hey, maybe somethings are just more like a raffle, and maybe I got all the crap.
