Hill House at Chestnut Hill

Hill House has a lot going for it: great location for me, great amenities, nice apartments layouts and light. Unfortunately the management does not do what it should. Some examples. Both my ac units were not working properly this summer. First time in 12 years. The manager and maintenance indicated I needed new Thermostats. They never replaced them. Later in the summer they just said they were working. One did not work at all. More like a fan. The other one gave freezing cold air at what ever... temperature you set it. It would also go off when it reached the set temperature and fill the room with warm air. It would not go back on again. So I had to put a heating pad next the temperature sensor so it would go on again.
To make the place livable I used several pedestal fans to pump air from the cold room to the hot room. Took up a lot of space. Got hit was fans in face every time I walked by.
In terms of maintenance. For 2 years no maintenance requests were filled. Management knew this. Sometimes I was able to track down a maintenance person to do a small job.

For many the old, small bathrooms would be a dealbreaker. For others, the amenities would be persuasive.

The staff here are so good and do their best to make Hill House a great place to live.

I will tell them, '. . . and the maintenance guys are very good and promptly correct the problem..'

Met people, and those managing, and the premises, and location. All to high standard in my view. No detractors.
