Each of the three bedrooms offers comfortable accommodations, and the three full bathrooms add to the convenience for guests.
Guests have access to the community pool, and the property is just a short walk from the beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, and kayaks are available for rent, and grocery delivery can be arranged. A temporary club membership can be arranged for $200 a day, providing access to community pools, dining, tennis, and a golf course. Vehicle gate passes are required and cost $20 per vehicle, with a maximum of 3 vehicles allowed.
DeBordieu Colony is a private oceanfront gated community located near Pawleys Island, South Carolina, situated between Charleston and Myrtle Beach. For a fee, most homes and villas offer on-site private DeBordieu Club amenities such as golf, tennis, and multiple dining options.
No pets are allowed on the premises, and there is a $500 fee for violations of the no-smoking policy. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian to book a property. Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. and check-out is before 10:00 a.m. RVs, motorcycles, motorbikes, jet skis, and gas-powered golf carts are not permitted in DeBordieu Colony. Battery/electric powered golf carts are permitted for operators at least 16 years of age with a valid driver's license, and operation is limited to daylight hours. Guests towing a boat must obtain a temporary boat decal and pay seasonal fees. Mandatory evacuations may occur during hurricane season, and no reimbursement will be provided unless Travel Insurance has been purchased.
