For DeBordieu Colony, golf carts must be battery/electric powered and have no more than 3 bench seats. Summer boat decals are $200 per week, $100 for 72 hours, and $50 for 24 hours. Fall through spring boat decals are $100 per week. A limited number of 12:00 pm check-ins or late check-outs are offered for rental guests with special arrival needs and must be requested at least 7 days prior to arrival for a fee of $125 plus tax.
Located in the gated amenity community of DeBordieu Colony, please confirm in writing with the community association if motorcycles, moped motorized bikes, ATVs, go-carts, motorized scooters, jet skis and similar motorized vehicles are allowed. Campers, trailers, or any other live-in moving vehicle are also prohibited. Motor vehicles are not allowed on the beaches of any of our local communities. Guests towing a boat must obtain a temporary boat decal and pay the appropriate seasonal fees. No wake speed zones are strictly enforced in creeks. Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. and check-out is before 10:00 a.m. If the property is not vacated by 10:00 AM and the housekeeping staff has arrived, a $100 holdover fee will be charged to the guest. Additional holdover fees will be charged every hour until the guest departs. Operators of golf carts must be at least 16 years of age, have a valid driver's license and obey all South Carolina traffic regulations. Operation is limited to daylight hours. No repairs, cleaning, washing, or maintenance to any vehicle shall be carried out on the rental property. Public walkways are clearly marked, so do not trespass through private property. This is a non-smoking home, and a $500 fee will be charged for violations of this policy. [SI]
