Worst in Greenville SC

By far the worst apartment complex in Greenville, SC.
My A/C unit went out in February 2026. After countless maintenance requests and attempts to send certified letters—which management would not accept—maintenance finally came out in May. On May 8, they supposedly replaced both the indoor and outdoor units.
The very next day, May 9, I noticed the outdoor unit was running constantly, even though the system wasn't running inside my apartment. When I opened the HVAC closet, I found the unit...
completely iced over. Since it was a Saturday, I immediately called emergency maintenance. The only thing that was done was shutting the unit off at the electrical panel.
After several more days of calling the office, they finally sent the same technician back out. He told me a fuse had blown and that it would take two weeks to get the part. When he returned on May 29, he informed me that the fuse was not the problem and that he would have to order yet another unit, blaming the replacement unit that had just been installed.
It is now June 11, in the middle of summer, and I still do not have working air conditioning—only a fan. Months of delays, poor communication, and unresolved maintenance issues have made this an incredibly frustrating experience.
Please stay far away from this place.

Great place!

I can't say enough great things about Amy and Jennifer! From day one, they have gone above and beyond to make my experience here amazing. Jennifer is always professional, responsive, and truly cares about the residents. She keeps everything running smoothly and ensures the community feels like home. Amy, is equally fantastic—always welcoming, helpful, and quick to assist with any questions or concerns.

It's rare to find a team that is both friendly and efficient, but Amy and Jennifer exceed...
expectations every time. If you're looking for a place where the staff genuinely cares about their residents, this is it! Highly recommend!

Great move in experience

I just moved across the country from the west coast. I had a short amount of time to get an apartment, because I started a job within a week and a half of moving. I viewed 8 apartments before choosing Roper Mountain Woods. Aim'ee was the one who took me through the available units, and I found one that I really liked. She has been wonderful throughout this whole process. I really like the community here so far, nice neighbors, plenty of parking, and my unit is spacious for the price. If you like... walking there is a larger lake within walking distance (and a smaller one on the property).

No Pool, Bad Maintenance

They’re charging full rent but neither pool has been working for over a year now. It took 5 months to get my dishwasher fixed after it fell out of the cabinet. Somehow other work orders were filled, but that one kept getting marked as completed when it wasn’t. After BBB complaints and dozens of emails and phone calls, they finally said the reason it hadn’t been fixed was they didn’t have a key. They also charged me for renters insurance for 9 months even though I had renters insurance and was... required to show proof before moving in. After another BBB complaint, that did get credited back quickly.
