Grand Oaks of Spartanburg

Been living here for a year. Refrigerator went out and all my food spoiled. Fridge is under a 5 year warranty yet was told that I needed renters insurance to pay for that. Had an ac issue recently. Entire filter was clogged and shredded in the corner. Was brown like a sponge. Maintenance has never changed these routinely like they’re supposed to. All management cares about is getting their money and commissions when they rent these apartments. Was a resident for 4 years. Lived in the first phase. After the apartment settled cracks appeared in ceiling, flooring in kitchen and living areas started coming apart. Office told many times would not address the issues. Reported of 5 times. Still no action taken. Said they would not fix it until we moved. So we moved could not afford to move in new phases due to the drastic in crease in rent. Kitchen to small not enough cabinet space and pool is to small for complex. We enjoyed the community... and the location. If they treated residents who have been their better it would be a. Good place.
