Mirada Manor Apartments

The apartment is very nice, good split/size of rooms with everything I needed, means full kitchen, bathroom and laundry. The location is also very good, convenient to get everywhere. Note it's in Lincoln county, so for all formalities you have to go to Canton, it's a nice ride/place, I was just surprised by it. Neighbors are also very nice normal people, no one noisy, no smells, so overall really great. if you get an apartment facing west, you get some nice afternoon sun/sunsets. So thats 5... stars.

The management company not so much, they knew I needed the apartment most likely for less than the 6 month term and initially promised to help find a new tenant should I move out before, well I know I am naiv but I thought in South Dakota words still mean something, you can guess nothing ever happened.

Same with the deposit, I left the apartment more than sparkling clean, cleaner than I got it, yet I was charged 2 cleaning fees. Absolutely are they entitled to it and I expected this trick to be played, but from a management company that has normal standards and dignity that would not have happened.

so for future tenants, nice place, write off your cleaning fee, I would even say leave it dirty so they really have to employ someone to clean it and not put it in their pockets for nothing.

The best part of these apartments is that they have a decent location and a good neighborhood. In the apartment that I have it is hard to maintain a good temperature because the windows leak in the winter and the AC is not powerful enough in the summer. I have had to buy a space heater for the cold days and two fans for the hot.

I love these apartments! Everything is very up to date with very friendly staff! Great neighborhood with great tenants.
