Villas at Houston Levee East & West

Absolutely love this community, they keep the property nice , the management and maintenance team are awesome, I love the layout of my apartment and the garage..

My apartment experience has improved a lot over the last few months, primarily because the process for renewing my lease seemed more streamlined, the Resident Portal is much improved, and the maintenance team continues to provide top notch service no matter how small the task. Lastly, the leasing office staff have a great response time to resident emails with questions or issues.

Gate on the West side has been broken most of my lease. HUGE issue for me and #1 reason I will not be renewing my lease. They should have replaced the entire system if it is that bad. Gated community is a big reason I picked this complex. I am sure I am not the only one moving because of this. The cost of losing residents because of this probably is more than it would have cost to replace the gate system.

Pros: Apartment layouts are great & residents are pleasant.
Cons: Trash compactor has had the same pieces of couches, dressers and mattresses sitting outside for over a month (so much for "luxury" apartments). Pool was shut down peak July with little explanation from management. Pest control service is a required monthly payment but even when you put in a service request for pest control - they will likely not stop by. Appliances are not updated.

It was a slow moving in process, appliances needed replacing, however, it was completed in a timely manner. Overall, nice staff ??
I love the trails in between the apartments.
