awful, awful place

They only care about scamming more money out of you. Mandatory valet trash $5 a month and they only pick up 3 days out of the week. Stove was broken when I moved in and when I requested it fixed they told me it was. It was not. Nails poking through carpet. Paint over hardware, lack of cleanliness. They threatened to fine me for leaving my empty, clean trash can outside (how else am I supposed to have my trash collected???) but my neighbors leave bags outside of their that get ripped by local... wildlife and leave trash on my porch - reporting this has done nothing, so I’m not sure why I was threatened with a fine if they aren’t (it’s clear they aren’t as their behavior hasn’t changed.) you can almost never reach the office by phone. They told me that vacuuming at 9 pm is not worthy of a noise complaint (i wake up at 4 am for work, but okay). Maintenance makes a point to try to come only when you aren’t home, which is uncomfortable and weird. They chose the coldest month of the year to repaint parking lines that are perfectly visible, and threatened towing at the owners expense if we didn’t move our cars over a quarter mile away and walk back through the freezing cold. They cut my keys wrong not once, not twice, but three wrong times, and never actually got it right, so I’m regularly locked out of my home AND my mailbox.

Do not waste the substantial amount of money they charge. This place is awful, and it takes over 20 min to get across the freeway to HEB. There is nothing redeemable about this place and there is no reason to live here: it’s not convenient, fair, well priced, it doesn’t care about its residents, its ugly, and there’s nothing worth getting to nearby that won’t take you an hour. You’re better off commuting from Kyle.

Don’t waste your time.

Where do I start….I’ve been at Bexley going on 3 years and when I first moved here I had very little issues but now, I don’t know if it’s the new team or what but read this and let me know what you think….
1. I have been asking why and when our hallways would get pressure washed. It’s been MONTHS! And everytime I ask a leasing agent they tell me it should be done some time soon but it has not. Our hallways ARE DISGUSTING!
2. When I moved in I was getting my filter in my fridge changed but now,...
they refuse to change my filter unless I purchase one myself! I don’t see anything in our handbook that says that I am responsible for getting a air filter and why would I need to purchase a filter when this was the fridge that was here when I moved in????!
3. I have been in my place 3 years, at ANY other apartment I lived in before I was able to get my carpet cleaned after a year or two. Why do they not do carpet cleaning?
4. There are days when our trash (like last night) just isn’t picked up and sometimes for days. When I ask the leasing office they’re so clueless. We pay for valet trash that barely comes. I’m not understanding.
I see so many vacant apartments and ppl moving out and I know understand why. This is a terrible place to live and I’m so frustrated with not having what I feel like are simple requests met. If you looking for a place this is NOT it. I wish I could give it ZERO stars

Like roaches?

Management is polite. Maintenance is responsive. However, Building 24 has a cockroach problem. Never had cockroaches before moving here. Have been dealing with them ever since moving here earlier this year no matter how spotless I keep my place. I can’t be the only one experiencing this. Both types have made multiple appearances in my home. I can’t be the only one experiencing this.

It’s gonna be a no from me

We lived here a little over a year, just recently moved out. We had 3 packages stolen off of our front step, issues with our neighbors blasting music at 3 am on any given night, homeless people coming out of the wooded area and asking for lighters or to bum a cigarette, and a down stairs neighbor who liked to come up and knock on our door because my toddler was playing and “stomping” too much for him.
After moving out we received our move out damage list a month after our move out date with a...
$75 dollar charge for our carpets having “high traffic and stretching”. Considering we are currently in a pandemic and we’re under NATIONAL stay at home orders which forced me and my boyfriend to have to stay and work from home this charge is completely appalling to me.

DO NOT RENT - 5 leaks

Do not rent here.
My apartment has had 5 major leaks. They cannot fix it and are refusing to let me out of my lease. I’ve slipped in my own apartment because of the leaks from heavy rain. Now here are spiders everywhere.

The pool is nasty and the lounge chairs are almost all missing their shade tops.

They never check the hallways for cleanliness. They left a mess in front of my door for over a week. Some kind of slime.

The cabinet doors fall off.

There is dog poo ALL OVER the grounds. I had...
to ask them to clean it up because of the dangers it poses.

The trails suck. So does the disc golf course.

The gym dumbbells are not secured on the rack properly. One fell on my guests foot while visiting. They did nothing.

They don’t maintain the dog parks.

When they “repaired” the water damaged interior of my apartment they didn’t even match paint.

The location is also horrible.

The trash valet is horrible and they don’t tell you upon lease signing about the unavoidable extra cost.

They are slow at responding to very important issues in a timely manner.
