I've been a long term Tenant at "Shady Oaks" here in South Austin. Wanted to point out a few things I've enjoyed by living here. It's a smaller Complex, no drama, quiet and peaceful. The Neighbors are friendly and helpful. Close to everything you can imagine. Dining, shopping and cute coffee shops. Also, there are more than a few of us that have lived here for Years. They always answer their phone But, honestly there's never a reason to call. I would recommend this place if you're... looking for quiet and peaceful and great service.

Mold, roaches, lack of maintenance / they don’t pay their Maitenence workers

I’ve lived here almost 3 years—the space has a wonderfully efficient layout for the price and square footage. A full kitchen and plenty of storage. The best part has been getting to know my neighbors here—many have been here long-term, and to be able to say hello to someone who knows your name is more than I could say for any other apartment complex I know of.

Walking distance to coffee, restaurants, groceries, bookstores, etc, and good access to main freeways. Not far from downtown.
