Tramor at Oak Run

I lived at Villas at Southport for four years in two different units and enjoyed my time there. The units are unique, the property is beautiful with lots of trees, and the location is great.

There were some issues from living in older buildings. When it rained, water came into our kitchen from the path up to our front door and, if it rained really badly, it poured inside around the sliding glass door frame. During the summer, the AC struggled to keep up with the heat. That said, maintenance is... kind and responsive.

While there, the water heater in the unit above us burst, flooding our apartment. Management was helpful, giving us an extra unit to store our stuff in to avoid mold growth. They also let us transfer our lease the same week. However, they refused to give us a rent credit despite the cost of time off from work and incredible stress. Renters insurance covered the cost of our extensive property damage.

Going on my third year here! Leasing office staff is consistently lovely to work with, maintenance team is very professional and quick. One complaint is that management is sometimes more reactive than proactive with news / updates, like giving little to no notice on for loud renovations in the unit next door or water being shut off for pipe maintenance, etc. However, this has gotten significantly better in the last year so I hesitate to even mention it. Being an older property will of course... come with its own issues, but overall I think we get a really good bang for my buck living in the 04. Several of my neighbors have been here for 7+ years, which is so rare! Dog community is strong, parking is always available and free. Sketchy parts of the surrounding neighborhood for sure, but I feel very safe within the bounds of the community. Read More

Great experience so far at Oak Run. Centrally located, good looking property, top notch maintenance, and reasonable pricing. Would recommend to anyone.

Lived here for 2 years. Smaller property, which i really like. Older property that may have minor issues here and there with the buidings. However, maintenance is great, they jump on issues quick. Front office works with you. Great location. I'd recommed staying here.

Really have enjoyed my time here at Tramor at Oak Run. The maintenance staff is prompt and helpful, and the leasing office is so kind! Pools are well maintained, and there’s a nice view of downtown. Even though the property is a little older, it has a nice charm. Walls are a little thin, but otherwise no complaints in my renovated condo.

What’s unique about the property is that every unit is different, so take your time on the tour!
