Caprock Apartment Homes

I lived at Caprock for 16 months. I was told prior to moving in that the hot tub would be fixed. The hob tub never worked the entire 16 months, with no signs of being repaired anytime soon. The parking area is tight, if you have a larger vehicle, it’s very tight. The complex always has water and drainage issues. Expect to have water shutoff at least once a month. I never had cold water in summer months ( pipes not buried deep enough, or run alongside the hot lines.)

I’ll give the overworked... maintenance crew credit for keeping up with routine things such as landscaping and keeping the grounds clean. The buildings are old and need constant repairs. Month to month leases after the expired term, increase $200 per month from your current rent.

Overall, if you’re on a budget, it’s not a terrible place to live. For the value, I suggest looking around at other apartments complexes to compare before making a decision. Read More

I would not recommend living here. I stayed for 14 months, and during that time, several amenities were consistently unavailable. One summer, the pool closest to my apartment was out of service the entire season. I also wanted to use the racquetball court, but the AC never worked, making it unbearable to play—it felt like an oven.

The property is outdated, and for the price, there are much better options in the area. On top of that, when I was moving out, it felt like they were trying to charge... me as much as possible just because I was leaving. Overall, not worth it. Read More

I've lived at Caprock CT for almost two years, and overall, it’s been a positive experience. The complex is generally quiet and well-maintained, with a friendly atmosphere among neighbors. The location is convenient—close to shopping, restaurants, and easy access to main roads, which has been a big plus for my daily commute.

Maintenance has usually been responsive and helpful, especially for routine fixes. The apartment layout is functional, and I appreciate the space and natural lighting.... Rent has remained relatively reasonable for the area, which is another reason I’ve stayed as long as I have.

I just moved in last month, and just love it. Management is responsive and professional. Also, no barking dogs or loud noises. I work from home, and it has been very peaceful. I plan on staying for a long time!
