countrywood apts
Pros: The staff are nice and accommodating, the 3/2 are a nice size, and maintenance comes fairly quickly.
Cons: They have water bugs (cockroaches) and rats and you can tell they're older apts that have been slightly remodeled (coat of paint and newer fixtures). I viewed the apt before moving in and didn't take time to thoroughly examine it. After being here I see a lot of things have been painted over (rushed job). There were bugs in the master all over the window seal and on the trim beneath... it. There's a moldy smell (that I've dealt with at other properties) coming from the vents in the master and kitchen. Maintenance comes fairly quickly but usually not all issues are resolved adequately. The tubs and sinks don't drain well and the water ran brown in the bathrooms when we first moved in. There were sounds in the kitchen so I had maintenance to fill the holes under the sink because I thought they might be mice coming through them and turns out to be rats (spotted 9/6/26 @ 4 am). Also I'm not sure where the HVAC unit is (maybe on the roof, I'm upstairs) but you can hear it every time it comes on.
i give it 3 stars because it is a nice area with great schools and the office staff(Rachel and Darryl) is nice and attentive. If you decide to move here be thorough when viewing.
