HORRIBLE Management
I’ve lived here for about a year, and my experience has been frustrating overall. The biggest issue has been communication—management is often unresponsive, and even now as I’m trying to move out, my emails are being ignored, making the process more stressful than it should be.
This lack of responsiveness has been especially concerning in serious situations. I dealt with ongoing harassment from a neighbor and it took over a month for management to address it. When they finally did, the only... solution offered was to “talk to him,” while acknowledging he would likely know it was me who reported it. I was also told to call the police next time, with no clear plan to ensure my safety.
The overall living conditions have also been disappointing. My unit had a roach infestation, the property often smells strongly of marijuana, and there is a frequent police presence. At one point, the entire complex was temporarily shut down. The parking lot also floods during heavy rain, despite being on an incline.
Maintenance and services have been unreliable. After submitting pest control requests for over a month, I was eventually told there was no provider at the time, yet residents were still charged for pest control services that were never provided. Maintenance also entered my apartment without permission, despite clear instructions not to do so unless I was present.
Amenities have been inconsistent as well. Both pools were shut down by the Harris County Health Department for a large portion of my lease. The gym was closed for a period and later reopened with limited hours (9–5, closed Sundays), making it difficult to use.
This is also an essential housing community that receives government support to provide subsidized rent, which makes the ongoing issues with basic services, maintenance, and staffing even more concerning. There does not seem to be adequate support in place to maintain the property or respond to residents in a timely manner.
I’ve worked with multiple staff members, including Property Manager Bea, Monica and Ashley, and the experience has been the same—poor communication and lack of follow-through.
Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. Management needs to improve communication, follow through on services, be transparent with fees, and take resident safety and privacy more seriously.
