Disappointing

You will be disappointed. Lots of promises during the tour, lack of professionalism later. They lack in maintenance, communication and honesty. I lived there for 13 months, each month I would get a ‘reminder’ to pay my rent even though I never missed or was late on rent. I would then get more ‘reminders’. I would also get notices to clean up after my dog, despite the fact I don’t have a dog. But sent note after note to come get donuts in the front. They stopped communicating on when the office... is closed. So I got emails on a dog I don’t own but nothing about the closed front office. If you call and leave a VM it won’t get returned. When you call back they tell you how they did not miss a call, yet they will also say they were about to call you back…in the same call. I put in several maintenance requests, each time the problem was never fixed. If you want your deposit back, think again. I’ve waited two months, left numerous VM’s and got a bunch of ‘really sorry’ and ‘it’s taken care of by a third party’. I left the apartment clean and with no damage yet I have gotten no reason for the delay or why my full deposit is not being returned. I do get my inbox full of SPAM from Bilt on my ‘rewards’. This is a corporate property whose front office turns over every other day. You are a piece of meat who will get told what you want to hear then they do nothing. If you have the opportunity to go elsewhere, do it. These overpriced apartments will disappoint. Prediction in advance, their reply to this review is that they’re ’really sorry’ and to call them.

Fair- Poor

Love the space and layout of the apartment itself. The pool has been closed more than any apartment complex I have ever lived in. The pool has been redone and different pool furniture was put out last summer but it seems pointless when the pool is disgusting and never cleaned. The gates are all chained up making it very inconvenient for all residents. The front gates are often broken along with the back exit being closed now as well. I personally would like to exit out the back gate due to it... being safer when you do not having to make a U-turn. Locking the back exit has become a safety concern, especially when traffic is heavy during the morning work commute. Residents only have use of tanning beds during business hours so if you work, you pretty much don't have access to it. The putting green near the pool is a unique amenity that residents pay to be able to use and we cannot use it. The communication is non-existent. Coronado doesn't come close to competing with similar apartment complexes in Midland for the price of rent that is charged here.

Do not live here

I have lived here for a year and things were great until the new management started a few months ago and things have declined significantly. They increased my rent by almost $400 after only living here a year. My apartment is a back unit above the dog park next to oil field work so it constantly smells. The walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors easily. The new management takes a lengthy amount of time to respond to emails and after requesting for information about the lease renewal... increase it took over a month for an answer. Due to the delay in their response, it pushes you out of the 60 day notice window which means you have to pay 85% of your rent. The water is terrible in the apartment. The gates are also almost always broken. Since the new management has taken over, the package pick up system quality has significantly declined. The new rent payment system is also very confusing and hard to use. The windows don't seal well so it's hard to control the temperature in the apartment and an extreme amount of dust gets blown into the apartment. It is not a walkable neighborhood. The pool was closed during 80% of the summer. I do not recommend this apartment complex. I agree with other reviews, since the management changed things have significantly declined.
