Great experience

I visited the property for a tour yesterday looking for a new home. I was shown a unit and I must say that it was gorgeous. The unit had new appliances and ample space. The area around the property was immaculate and the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I look forward to moving in soon.

I really enjoy living here

Amongst the first tenants here in ‘23. Building is always aesthetically pleasing, which I appreciate for the price. Cleaned daily. Great locations for work commute, especially for “Govies”.

I’m from the South, so parking deck is my least favorite. Can be a hassle for visitors but they do offer discounted rates for guests. With a pinch of adult managed expectation, this continues to be a premium living experience for me.

Think again about the safety and security here

The apartment building itself is nice, neat, clean, and well maintained as it would be. I do not doubt this. High ceiling, new appliances.

However, I recently had the incident end of May. My car's wheels have been removed and stolen by theft in the garage which has been gated and paid $225 monthly for both of my cars. (The reason why I chose this apartment even though it is slightly more expensive than other buildings is that I felt that the level of security should be high) but no !!
Not only...
my car but also the same day with another neighbor which part right next to the community gate (Reserve area)

All 4 stories of parking building has only 2 camera which only face to the entrance and exit. If something happens inside the parking lots?
Does it worth $225 for 2 car a month with this kind of security?
Think about it.

I had a chance to speak to one of the co-owners directly. Of course, she felt sorry about this. But yes, this could happen to anyone.
She even mentions that "we cannot guarantee anyone's safety"

As your resident. This could not help with anything that I can be assured or knowing that they are trying hard to protect their resident safe

I already requested to move out and I could not feel safe anymore. Even now it's been 2 months since that happened. They still don't have any countermeasures to improve.

*** Parking building run by a third-party company. Previous management even mentioned that this was not their responsibility ***

Again, the apartment unit itself is good.
Safety and security, I have no words.

Just not up to par

Parking: The parking is inconvenient. Too many reserved spaces close to the building entry -- should have MORE non-reserved spaces for RESIDENTS. I feel like the excessive reserved spaces are a money grab, as you have to pay more for a reserved spot.
My unit:
1. Kitchen: The unit I am in does not have an island and has limited cabinet space and & counter space. Upper cabinets are not standard size. A standard size cereal box cannot be placed upright into the cabinet, as well as storge...
cannisters for dry goods.
2. Non-Master bedroom - poorly designed --should have included an additional 3 feet from the door. That 3 feet would have made all the difference in comfort. Room dimension should be at least 13x10 Sliding/barn door should have a locking mechanism. Closet Shelving looks unstable and should not have a lower shelf one side, makes it difficult to hang long coats, dresses, etc without bunching up.
3. Master bedroom - bathroom sliding door should have a locking mechanism.
4. Bathrooms: Only one towel rack and no medicine cabinet(s). Small features like the aforementioned, seem to be left out or overlooked. Overall gives off cheap hotel bathroom.
5. Cheap/low-end drawstring blinds that do a poor job of blocking out light when closed. Should consider cordless blinds.
6. None of the windows in my unit open. I do not understand this missing feature. I would like to have fresh air from time to time. Should consider new windows that can open.
7. The floor in my kitchen & living room are not leveled - big dip/slant in the floor.
General Comments:
1. Lack of amenities like a tennis court, putting green, swimming pool or area for sunbathing. Should consider putting in a roof top pool.
2. Trash chute openings too small - very difficult to put garbage down the chute. Should have recycling bin in the trash room for each floor - that has a separation for paper, plastic, glass etc.
3. Retail space vacant. Please consider bringing in a convenience store or coffee shop.
4. Only one road to enter and exit the property. If there is some natural or man-made disaster of the main road would potentially be a headache. It would seem prudent to have another road to enter/exit the property. Again, poorly planned/conceived for living space property.

3 Month Check-In

I have been living here for just over three months. I am extremely pleased with it. Prior to touring, I had looked at a few apartments that were all a mess, be it with management, maintenance, or pests. I have not experienced any issues of that sort (or any issues for that matter). The building is still getting its finishing touches since it is new, but everything is still always clean. Management stays on top of any building maintenance and reminds tenants within plenty of advance of anything... which might be occurring, and they host little social events for the tenants! The price is reasonable for the quality of living. Almost everyone that I've spoken to in the building has said that they love it too. If I had a complaint, it would be that I wish all three elevators would be operational at all times, but besides that I am very pleased.
