Extremely outdated appliances but the floor is "new" so it's marketed as "upgraded". Windows barely opened and closed with no screens. Cracked weather seals on windows and doors. Everything is painted over. The apartment still had clothes in it and was dirty from the previous tenant, including the outdated washer and dryer. There were smoke stains all over the apartment. The pest control you pay for every month never shows up either. Just horrible. They cut every corner they could.

The only pro... is that the neighborhood is usually quiet.

Out dated falling apart. I have a massive dip in kitchen floor,I can see right out my front door weather stripping is gone,kitchen window about to fall out,black stuff comes out pipes 1970s kitchen and stove over priced

i have lived here for a little over a year and half. i have a beautiful view of the lake and this is the quietest place i have ever lived. parking is never a problem with assigned space and ampel quest parking as well. the people in the front office are nice and always availble. any problems that i have had (not that many), are always seen to within the same day as reported. i went to the front office at the beginning of the month to pay my rent and mentioned that my oven was sort of old and... that i was having minor problems with it. within 2hours the maintainece crew had installed a brand new stove. to say that i was pleased is an understatement. now every place has it's ups and downs theirs being no washer and dryer hookups, but they do have many coin operated laundry rooms. and since i have lived here every machine has been replace with new one. this is my 1st experience in apartment living and i am very pleased and would recommend lakeview terrace highly. Lived within the management for around 4 years in total. Maintenance people don't knowanything and always cut corners. Once had mold coming through my bathroom to my downstairs living room.The apartments are decent but paying a little more you can get something way nicer. DON'T EVERYONE RENT A HOUSE FROM THEM! Moved into a house that apparent was an "as is" rental. Meaning they weren't responsible for what happened before I moved in. Deck was falling apart and missing planks. Bathtub was coming... off from the wall with mold and rotted boards in between. They simply cauked over it. Will never go back to them. If I could give a less than 1 star review I would. Read More

The rent for this complex is much lower than similar units in the area. The apartments are older but have been well maintained and the management company is family owned - no big management company with stockholders to keep happy!

PLUS they pay 40% of your water and gas - a HUGE bonus in the winter.

The staff here are prompt, helpful and friendly and have been an absolute dream to deal with - especially compared with last apartment complex I lived in.
