Margate Manor

At my building there is a mice infestation that resulted in catching over 20 mice! We had to put sticky mice traps all over the apartment. They also take all your deposit for "cleaning". Who charges over 400 for cleaning a 900.sqft apartment? I do not recommend living there unless you don't mind mice crawling all over the apartment as pets.

The office staffs and maintenance staff are rude.
The maintenance staff knocks on doors as if to break them down and enters the room in dirty dirty dirty shoes. They don't leave any notes when they enter the apartment. It's kinda scared.
Homeless people come in and out of apartment buildings in the evening and early morning. And they sleep inside the building sometimes.

I really enjoyed living at Margate Manor. The apartments are very nice, in a very safe area , and affordable. Shannon and Debbie are so kind and really take good care of everyone! They are always happy to help. The maintenance team is wonderful too! I would recommend these apartments to anyone!

Margate is amazing! While it's an old building, it's well maintained and is beautifully landscaped. The property managers and maintenance workers became like family!
10/10 would recommend to everyone I know in the area.

The apartments are big but super old. There are cracks and the walls are chipped. They don't fix stuff when people move out. They paint over it so you can see the damage underneath. The paint chips off too. The carpet was old and dirty and has wrinkles in it. The appliances are probably 15-20 years old.

When you walk outside, it smells like weed and cigarettes from people smoking on balconies. There are children screaming at all hours of the day and night. No one watches their small children... while they run wild outside. Doors are slammed super hard all day until very late in the night. The floors creak. People leave stuff in the washers for hours sometimes so it can be hard to do laundry. Maintenance does a poor job of fixing things. It's either halfway fixed, crooked, or breaks again.

The office staff is great though. You'll pay less rent than most other places around here too. Read More
