If I could give a zero star rating…
My experience has been extremely frustrating and I literally just got here….
My scheduled move-in date was August 21, but I was unable to properly move in because the door lock was not functioning and would not secure the apartment. When I went inside to inspect the unit, I found several additional issues: the hallway light was not working, there was visible damage to the wall and flooring as if something had been dragged across it, the refrigerator door does not open properly and prevents... access to the fridge, and there was urine left in the toilet.
On top of all of that, I have had no hot water. As of August 26, the only issue that has been resolved is the door lock.
I was told by the office that “communication is key,” but unfortunately, there has been very little effective communication or follow-up regarding when these issues will actually be fixed. I work long hours, so I don't always have the ability to constantly follow up with the office myself.
To make matters worse, when I came home from work on August 26, I discovered that my emotional support animal was missing. This has made an already stressful situation even more upsetting.
I understand that issues can happen with any property, especially during a move-in, but the lack of communication, unresolved maintenance problems, and overall condition of the apartment have been extremely disappointing. I expected to move into a safe, clean, and functional home—not spend my first week trying to get basic issues addressed. They also had plenty of time to get my unit ready before I moved in but it seemed as though things weren’t done or things were done last minute.
