Very disappointed with the move-out process. I was charged additional rent for not giving email notice two months before lease end, despite being verbally told I only needed to notify them if I was extending. I paid the amount requested to avoid further issues.
I also provided a forwarding address when I returned the keys, yet over 45 days later I had to follow up to learn my security deposit check was sent to the wrong address. They now say they will correct it, but the lack of clear... communication and accountability is unacceptable. Read More

I’ve lived in the Edmund for more than 3 years, and will keep staying there till my job change. It is definitely the best place to live in for those reside in Reston, everything is close by, the Wegmans Ivón the 2nd floor. Reasonable prices with kind and helping management.

Apts are nice but they overcharged me every month. I already had insurance and they added their own which made me pay twice. They add on new charges every year. My rent, parking fees, and other management fees (more than $300!!) made it impossible to stay. Check the bill for inaccurate charges that sneak up on your bill every month.

I've lived in multiple apartment complexes in my life and grew up in SoHo, NYC, and absolutely LOVE living here at The Edmund. Brookfield Property Management as a whole has been such a joy to deal with throughout the entire process from start to finish. During my research and touring period, I felt like all of my needs were heard and properly addressed with each unit I toured. Yesim and the entire leasing office staff have always been extremely kind and immensely helpful when called upon. Staff entering apartment without notification or a knock. Gas leak not reported to the residents, yet the smell is horrific. Managment excels at arguing rather than be tactful with the client/resident and rectifying the problem. Staff asleep and snoring at the front desk, yes snoring during the day ( on video) and last but not least, resident smoking pot on the balconies. This is a great shot show and too expensive !
