the other review must be from previous management because this place is nothing like that review. The apartment was spotless upon move in. Never any bugs in the apartment, ever. Phase 1 (the older apartments) still are very new. Maintenance is there the next day even when it's a low priority fix. The office staff work so hard to create events for the community to bring people together, and make a point to get to know you. The community is quiet and so nice, a good mix of young families, a few... graduate students, and younger and older singles. you always feel safe here. The views are spectacular, and you might find yourself late to work getting caught up in the porch views. maintenance walks the apartment daily to clean any litter. the 24 hr fitness center is new and awesome (photos listed are not the updated fitness center) and the best part - never crowded. The only downside is the Park properties company raises the apartment cost annually. The office ladies are phenomenal and care about their jobs and their tenants. I have to say that I was thoroughly disappointed with our stay and would not recommend. Upon moving in we found that the kitchen had not been properly cleaned. Dirty floor, trash in two drawers and filthy walls above the cabinets, while the counter tops and appliances all had a film. One would think that they would, at least, take five minutes to inspect an apartment prior to someone taking possession and not rely on the word of the previous tenant. We also had the pleasure of discovering that... the apartment had a flea infestation and staff offered no compensation, whatsoever, for our expense and inconvenience in ridding the apartment of them. They did offer to provide a fogger but, we didn’t want it on our furniture and clothing. To make matters worse, an office staff member admitted to knowing that the previous tenant had a pet, and they didn't even have the sense to use a fogger prior to someone taking possession. That should be standard practice, regardless. After having given our notice, the “Manager” even joked about it saying that there was no charge for the fleas. I can take a joke as well as the next person but, really? Totally unprofessional.......Fortunately, we didn’t need to reside there for very long before finding a home but, it was too long.
