Living here was uncomfortable because there is no soundproofing between the units, much worse than any building I’ve ever lived in. Loud footsteps, cabinets shutting, and other noises from neighbors are a constant factor. Noise cancelling headphones only go so far because you can feel the vibration of things in your skull. If you work from home or spend time reading, studying, or need to focus in any way, avoid Mark on 8th.

The apartments inside are nice, the location is nice. However the apartment vibrates rather hard at night, you will absolutely feel it in your bed. Particularly on the upper floors. It's very prevalent in the winter months and pushes into an unbearable rumble. The building is wood framed and transmits vibrations from rooftop HVAC really well, particularly if you're in one of the end units.
Other things to note is the garbage trucks will be slamming dumpsters really hard around 5 to 6am so be... ready for that.
I would avoid leasing from here unless you can get a really good assessment of the unit regarding this and any other potential environmental discomforts.
