We have lived in Shelton Eastlake for several years. The property is in a wonderful location, the units are well-designed and offer lots of natural light, and the views from the rooftop are gorgeous. If it weren't for repeated issues with management failing to address serious safety concerns, we would be very happy here.

Since moving in, we and other residents have voiced concerns regarding theft of packages, car break-ins, broken/malfunctioning security gates, and broken/malfunctioning garage... doors. In addition, last winter, our building experienced a serious mold issue, and management offered us little support in addressing the underlying issue of moisture building up in the walls.

We have repeatedly dealt with secondhand smoke from neighbors, despite this being a nonsmoking building, and complaints have yielded little to no action. This often prevents us from using the balcony during the summer months, when residents smoke outside, and has now become an issue during the winter, as smoke is infiltrating our unit under the floor boards.

It's really a shame, because we love our apartment, but it is unlikely we'll renew this year. Read More
