Whitnall Park Apartments

My experience living here was extremely negative. I dealt with constant harassment from my downstairs neighbor, who made repeated false complaints about me. Even after those claims were shown to be baseless, management continued to entertain them and repeatedly contacted me instead of addressing the harassment. I was even threatened with eviction multiple times. I was spoken to unprofessionally by staff and did not feel I was treated fairly or equally, especially by the main owner, Justine. The... staff often came across as rude and dismissive, and whenever I brought up my own concerns, they were not taken seriously and required multiple follow-ups just to get a response.

For any pet owners: although the complex is advertised as pet-friendly, the building has very poor sound insulation. Instead of addressing structural issues, management places responsibility on tenants for normal, everyday living noises. There is very little understanding when it comes to reasonable pet activity or noise— even calm movement from a pet can become an issue. If you have a Karen neighbor who complains about basic sounds like walking, expect noise complaints and even threatening letters or calls about eviction. It’s incredibly frustrating to feel like you cannot live comfortably in the apartment you pay SO much money for.

I was having a problem getting my insurance listed with new company. Justine was very helpful getting it straightened out and helping my insurance agent

This complex is the absolute worst. There are so many issues with it and no direct email so there's no one to contact if they don't answer the phone and that has been one of the issues we've had. They lock the outside of the apartment buildings but there is NO call box or cameras. So when packages are delivered, they are often stolen. We always write instructions to deliver to mail room but sometimes the deliveries still go to our building while we're at work and we never get them. The sauna has... been broken since we moved in. We've asked about it multiple times, and every time we get some bs answer and that "they don't know when it will be fixed" : ) when we moved in the apartment was so dirty and they had to come in and use ozone treatment which was a hassle for our dogs. save your money and time and don't rent here. The staff in the main office is rude, and will hang up on your phone calls instead of coming up with resolutions. I am also disabled from my time in service and was still treated poorly. Also if you get an old apartment, make sure you don’t fall for their lie about them charging everyone the same because of the size.

Let me first start off with how horrible management and staff is. Very rude and so unprofessional. Offices were under construction for months starting in December and were told three different re-opening dates until they finally opened this April. Management never answers calls or texts for days even when sending multiple messages. Horrible communication and like other reviews there were multiple occasions where we were told “we never received your rent” or it was “lost”. When rent was paid days... in advance. Do not rent here.
