Waldorf Midtown

I have been living here for 7 years and have nothing but good things to say about the property and the property management company. The apartments are lovely, and everything is very well maintained. It's also in a prime location next to Waldorf Park, and just down the street from the Jeffy Trail. I feel at home here!

Located in a nice, quiet residential area. Great for walking or riding bikes. Some parks and trails nearby but shops, restaurants or other retail is too far to walk. For a fairly new building, I was disappointed in the quality (drawers and cabinets coming apart...management said they were working with the builder/having issues), wall cracks and mismatched paint from repairs. The apartment was turned over in filthy condition so make sure you inspect immediately upon receiving keys in case... additional work needs to be completed. So much hassle trying to get things done after move-in! Also, for the price there are absolutely no amenities except parking, courtyard and doggie clean up stations. Ive been renting a studio apartment here for the last year and it's really nice. My friends all live on the east side and wonder why I live so far away but I really enjoy this building. It's the most quiet apartment I've ever lived in even with a lot of dogs in the building. The cons consist of: the floors are hard to keep clean, there are some aggressive dogs (not aggressive breeds, they would benefit from pet interviews), and we had some trouble with maintanence clearing snow with a leaf... blower at 3 or 4 am in the winter. The location is great, the apartments are quite nice, and the price isn't bad either! Much more reasonable than some of the neighboring buildings, with better appliances, more space, and great parking! They do lack some ammenities, and the repair services were a little slow. Other than that, we have had no issues here.

The building is quiet, the neighbors keep to themselves (sometimes too much so), and the common areas are always kept clean. Finally, underground parking included in the rent is... a HUGE plus! Read More
