I don’t see myself renewing my lease and this unit the walls are super thin the hallways stink people do not clean up after their dogs. It’s dog urine all throughout the hallways. You guys still didn’t figure out the situation with my bank. I’m just not happy with my overall experience since I’ve been here.

Great apartment, management going downhill fast I’ve lived her for almost 4 years. This is by far the best location for the price in all of Phoenix. We love it here and being by the park is incredible. But in the last 2.5 years the management of this place has gone from passable to inexcusable. Folks working in the office make it clear they couldn’t care less about this community. Deep cleaning is never done in the common spaces, the gym floor hasn’t seen a vacuum in months. It seems like no... one ever does a walk of the property. There are a lot of residents here that care about this place and talk to each other and we all agree the office staff is next to useless. The one caveat to all this is that the maintenance team is AWESOME! Jose and Alexis and a few others are so wonderful and very quick to respond. The maintenance team is keeping this place afloat.

Management Has Gone Downhill We love our apartment, the maintenance staff is excellent. The issue is with management. We’ve been at the apartment for 3 years and in those three years the building itself has gone downhill in general. Management nickel and dimes you for anything, they’re not very nice, and don’t seem to care as much as they used to. Exit doors smell super bad because residents let their dogs pee right on them or next to them. The garage is always super dusty which drags black... dust onto rugs and into apartments and people speed down so fast we’ve almost been in multiple accidents or have nearly been hit. It wouldn’t take much to improve the building.. power wash the exits and entrances, add cameras for safety, clean it up a bit, refill the scent machines in the hallways (have been empty for 2 years).

avoid- unless management in changed

I truly hate to leave a negative review because the apartment itself—and its location—are absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, the current management team (which I believe is operated by their sister company, The Portrait) has been a major disappointment. They come across as unprofessional and show little to no empathy toward residents.

There have been repeated issues with vehicles being stolen or towed from the lot—even when the tenants are paying—simply because a small parking sticker isn’t...
clearly visible. The shared dumpster area, located between the two properties, often attracts unhoused individuals and creates an uncomfortable environment. To make matters worse, garbage trucks arrive as early as 3 AM, causing a major disturbance for any units facing that side of the building.

Communication with the leasing office is also a struggle—they rarely answer phone calls or reply to emails.

It’s a shame that such a beautiful and well-located complex is so poorly managed.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly aka You can do better!

The Good:
-Hawke is hands down THE BEST leasing agent I and my family have ever met. Sadly he's moved on to another job, and he is sorely missed.

The Bad:
-This property has been open for 3 years, and there are still no working trash chutes. Management says they're waiting on a part... The remedy is trash valet or the unsightly garbage pins in front of the structure.
-The parking structure was paved incorrectly, due to this the ground is...
really dusty and cars get extremely dirty and need to be washed often.
-Strangely some residents draw vulgar pictures on the unwashed cars. Get ready to drive to work with private anatomy all over your windows...
-Walls are quite thin, if you're a light sleeper, you'll need ear plugs

The Ugly:
-The new management is barely on site, brusque, and really unresponsive. Their customer service skills are non-existent (good luck getting timely responses)
-Multiple residents have had their cars towed from the site because of the Lydian's strange relationship with Arizona Impound (they encourage them to come and drive around the complex)
-No free parking for guests, embarrassingly they have to pay to park on the 1st floor
-Garage has extremely tight corners, increases chance of accidents
-Multiple people have had their cars or bikes stolen from the complex, and the Lydian has still not put up adequate cameras in the garage for surveillance
-Many unhoused people go through trash bins daily and some have also taken some property from residents. What a strange idea to have trash bins "decorating" the entrance to the garage of the "luxury apartments"
