San Carlos

I just moved out of San Carlos Apartments after living there 4 months. First problem there is no security around the apartment, they have a lock on the gym door and refused to lock the gym with only one entrance in and out. Anyone off the street could have access in. The Javelina problem is so horrific at all times of the day and night. I got charged by a herd. When I complained about the security issues I was told, oh that's the way it is and has been for 26 years. The manager and... assistant manager are so worthless, if you disagree with them they will tell you to move. I found homeless people in the dumpsters and parking and sleeping on the property.
Worst of all after 3 months I pipe burst in my apartment and filled my bathroom with raw and toxic sewage. I asked to please have my apartment cleaned and sanitized and they refused. The management company Simpson did nothing as well. I was forced to move out of a swampy, stinky apartment at my cost. And I wrote to everyone with no answer about the incident. Any service request which I have submitted over the last several years has been resolved quickly and professionally.

I have lived here for nearly 10 years does that explain it though. However I have been waiting four weeks for my original deposit of nearly $805. The main office has not followed through professionally

Good location, good price (for now) but the renovated apartments are very pricey

I've lived there for probably 8 years. The office staff and maintenance are great. Plus, I feel safe there.
