Meadows Apartments

I’ve lived at the meadows for ten years. Recently I’ve been looking for a larger space because I have a young child. That said, it’s been hard to find a place that’s comparable to the Meadows in a location so centrally located. Quick access to main roads and highways, but still feels tucked away once you’re inside the complex. The pools, gym, and saunas are all well maintained and in great condition (which is important to me). The units themselves are nice. If you don't believe the reviews and hove to see the place be sure you validate your reservation at least twice. I drop 2 hours in LA Traffic to view this place to be told they don't have me on their appointments and the person was the only person there and they could not see us all day. I told them we have an email confirmation and we drove all this way and they did not care. I didn't see the insider but the place is old and run down and no place to place around the complex. Been here 7 yrs, at 1st it was nice, amenities were good, management was pretty good, quiet, clean common areas. But since Covid, everything has gone downhill and fast. Pools and hottubs are dirty. Laundry rooms/machines are crap, always out of order, dirty, gross and cost a fortune. Noise is a problem. Too many dogs that bark all day, and wake you up very early in the AM. Dog owners don't pick up after them and obviously don't care their dogs are a nuisance. No real manager on site for almost 2... years, so little response to complaints & issues. Crime: my car was stolen out of our "secure" garage - and mgmt would not help at all. No security cameras. Package room is nightmare!! So many packages stolen. Constant "maintenance fixes and noise". 1st floor apartments flood as plumbing is 60 yrs old. Water shutoffs all the time with little warning. Blue was fantastic during the entire process. From our initial inquiry, to the tour, to answering my many questions. As I live in another state and was helping my college age daughter find a place to live, it gave me reassurance and confidence that someone was looking out for her.

The apartment is perfect for my 20 something daughter with onsite laundry and a secure building.

This apartment complex has a horrible roach infestation and the staff is incredibly rude and will gaslight you into thinking you're the only unit or that you brought them, despite seeing roaches throughout the property. Infestation in the drains. Dog pee on all the carpets. Rude staff. Overall, horrible and traumatic living situation.
