The Residences on Jamboree

I hate writing bad reviews but this one definitely deserves a HUGE WARNING. BEWARE DO MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LIVE A NIGHTMARE. Where do I start… management does not care about ANYTHING, whether that’s broken equipment, broken elevators, broken trash bins, doors. Literally this place is a wreck and nothing gets fixed.

If there’s an issue, they will ignore you or won’t accommodate. The maintenance crew does very cheap work and doesn’t always fix the problem.

Walls are super thin compared... to other apartments. You can hear everyone and everything!

The complex is always dirty and trash lying around.

My car got broken into and management doesn’t care.

**I SIGNED AN EXCLUSIVE PARKING SPACE. MANAGEMENT DELETED IT WITHOUT NOTICE AND THEN TOWED MY CAR WHEN I WAS PARKED IN MY SPOT. THEN THEY SAID SORRY THATS OUR FAULT BUT YOU WONT GET UOUT SPOT BACK AND WE WONT GIVE YOU ANOTHER ONE. WE WILL LET YOU KNOW.

Be aware they will change your contract or delete addendums without notice and it’s your responsibility to deal with it. Any accommodations requests or maybe some kind of option to make up for their mistakes? No, they flat out said sorry nothing we can do.

PLEASE BE AWARE YOUR CAR WILL GET TOWED, CONTRACTS WILL BE CHANGED WITHOUT NOTICE, CAR WILL GET BROKEN INTO, ALOT OF NOISE AND WRECKLESS PEOPLE.

This place could definitely get better if management changes but for some reason they enjoy making your home un-enjoyable and make it into a nightmare. Read More

This is the worst place I have ever lived, nothing at all luxury about it. I have been here for 4 months and it’s been an absolute headache dealing with how this place is maintained and managed. Nothing was done properly for our apartment form the get go. The apartment wasnt even cleaned properly with piles of dust and trash everywhere. The cleaning person hadn’t even left yet when we got the keys, paint splatter everywhere, the floors damaged, door damaged. The halls smell of foul trash and... there is trash juice all over the floors. The halls and garage are constantly littered with trash. I got locked out from my own apartment because they use a fob system, my door battery died on me all of a sudden and my wife and I were locked out for over an hour. Haven’t even lived here for that long to have the battery die, meaning the battery was never changed. Their excuse was I should’ve known when the battery needed to be changed and should’ve had a work order put in, putting all the burden on the resident, I already have so much in my mind I shouldn’t be having to worry about getting locked out of my apartment as well. I'm absolutely fed up with the service of this apartment complex. Don’t come and live here because they charge the luxury price without meeting the criteria. If they want to have the property ill maintained as it is, they shouldn’t be labeling themselves as luxury. Absolute sham. Read More

HIDDEN FEES AND CHARGES:
Be very mindful with this property, they have a very helpful team, however that’s more than what can be said for the company itself. We’ve have over 3 errors or mis matching prices before we’ve moved in, and the only response is “UDR Is very strict”

MOLD & MILDEW:

UDR is aware of this issue and refused to address it nor fix it. They will say it’s a part constraint however the manufacture will deny this claim and provide you the part upon request within 3-5 business... days......the real reason? Staffing, because they don’t have someone to order the part we are not stuck with the previous tenants moldy appliance.

HARDWOOD FLOORS MISSING:
These floors are cheap, and missing several planks of wood. Cheap contractors at high price is what you’ll find here.

It’s a shame because the maintenance staff is very polite and nice, however UDR as a whole clearly doesn’t care about their teams safety, their tenant safety, or property.

VANDALISM:
First day we moved in, our front door was vandalized. Our neighbors have had it happen repeatedly and they don’t care. I’m sure they’ll attempt to charge us at the end for this. Read More
