THE PHOENICIAN

I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of attention to security at Phoenicians Apartments. Over the past couple of months, five garages have reportedly been broken into and robbed, and on one night, two brand-new cars had their wheels stolen. These are serious incidents that should not be happening at an apartment community where residents expect their property and safety to be protected.

What makes the situation even more frustrating is that the security cameras appear to be fake,... nonfunctional, or otherwise not providing any meaningful security. The gates are also constantly broken, making it far too easy for unauthorized people to enter the property.

Meanwhile, management seems to be prioritizing cosmetic projects. Buildings are being painted and pavement that was already perfectly good is being replaced, while the growing security problems remain unresolved. Improving the appearance of the property is fine, but security should be a much higher priority when residents are dealing with repeated break-ins and vehicle theft.

Residents deserve working security cameras, properly functioning gates, adequate lighting, and a serious response to the repeated thefts occurring on the property. Until management addresses these issues, I would strongly urge prospective residents to think carefully about the security situation before choosing to live here. Read More

Manager patricia is never there when you get hold of her she lies about everything. Do not waste you time. Horrible and unprofessional staff. Units have problems and very dirty.

I've been living at the Phoenician for 8 years! What a beautiful and quiet property. The location is conveniently located next to all the shopping, gym and restaurants. Everyone that lives at the Phoenician is so friendly always offering a smile.

My mom and I moved here 6 years ago and absolutely love this community! Mom is 87 yrs. old and she and I feel safe here. We are close with our neighbors and we are all so respectful of each other which we appreciate. The management and maintenance team are great and responsive. Great place to live!!

As a tenant of this complex of the last 3.5 years this will be lengthy but I without a doubt can say LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE the only reason I have stayed renting here this long pertains to my employment and where this complex is located.

I could write a novel on the amount of problems I have had with this complex but to summarize for you.

I have had things stolen from my garage while it is locked,
I have had my vehicle broken into,
I have sprinkler hard water spots covering my 60k SUV,
I have had... fire alarm testing go off in my unit with no warning,
I have had vehicles towed from guest parking with no warning and been forced to pay,
I have dealt with a roach infestation both in unit and my garage,
I have had my rent increased 32% YOY,
I have dealt with a leaky AC Unit for 9 months before they properly fixed it only after I began to complain of the visible black mold it was creating in my ceiling.
I have had the same AC break in a 105 degree heat wave and there was no way to get a hold of maintenance to fix it for 4 days as they had removed the emergency maintenance number from their voicemail.
I have had people knock on my door and cover the peep hole so I do not know who is there, forcing me to buy a ring doorbell system.
I have called and emailed management with these concerns and been hung up on, given excuses or never even responded to.

I am writing this today as I am finally 3 months away from my new home finishing being built and from me escaping this place. This complex may charge the highest prices in Roseville but be warned their price per month does not live up to their "Luxury Apartment Living" in anyway.

I genuinely do hope if you read this through you realize this is simply too much to just make up and you look elsewhere for you and your families sake. Read More
