The ladies in the front office are very nice but the management company in NJ that owns the complex is terrible. There is no way to directly reach them, they take multiple months to resolve issues or problems. The parking situation is deplorable, if you don’t get out of work by 2pm you won’t have a spot, and even the “visitor” parking gets over run by tenants or visitors take resident parking. They are not doing any work orders due to Covid so the light in the kitchen has been out for months... with no hope of fixing it any time soon. Rent is cheap but that’s about the only perk here. I called and left messages for 2 straight weeks. Never one time received a call back. When you have apartments available online, answering the phone would be a positive. I decided to just drive and go inside, the lady very quickly told me nothing available sorry bye.

We've been here for 2 years and we enjoyed being here. The staff are great! Management is awesome and maintenance get things done i'm on the spot. They work so hard just to keep their tenants happy. Great place to live.

Avoid ardenwood. Disaster from move-in day when the filthy marker stained carpet that was promised to be replaced when touring was still there. Never got replaced. Numerous leaks. Mold. Close to a dozen incidents of heat/hot water breaking. Leasing office has high turnover rate, no one can help you with anything and it’s impossible to get in touch with anyone who knows anything. Apartment walls are like paper, I can hear full conversations and smell neighbors cooking. Constant marijuana smell... and frequent police presence. What once was a pleasant place to live, turned into a nightmare. What drew our attention to the neighborhood, was the friendly staff who welcomed us to a summer party before we had even moved in, as well as the homey feel. The staff had the best interest of the family in mind, and would do anything to truly make you feel at home. A few weeks after we moved in, that had turned to turmoil. The new owners from New Jersey had no idea at all what they were doing, and they had no interest in... continuing the hospitality that the previous owners had provided. Our "new" home included no upkeep of the building, drug dealing, people who stole from us, as well as glass in the bottom of the community pool. Billing became a nightmare, when the new owners had us pay rent on their new website that they couldn't view the paid bill. Then random bills and notices would be left under the door, although the rent had been paid for weeks ahead of time.
