Ten Trumbull

I’ve lived here for 15 months & have had some issues but nothing major. Love the area & the beautiful clubhouse. The staff in the leasing office have been amazing & helped address all my concerns to the best of their ability. The maintenance staff have also been great & I can’t forget the amazing ladies that keep the inside of our buildings spotless! The main issue I have is that, pets are allowed but I feel that the apartment itself is not pet friendly. There is gapping in the flooring which... becomes an issue if the pet has an accident because the urine soaks into the subfloor if not cleaned in a timely manner & even after cleaning, it will still rise back up through the gaps. Another issue is that the walls are painted with matte paint which are near impossible to clean & absorb everything! Also the tubs/showers have grout in between the tile & the base of the tub/shower which chips off & creates gaps & opportunity for mold growth. We luckily found Ten Trumbull, in Trumbull Ct, and having recently sold our home of 29 years moving to a small apartment was a daunting task. But I will tell you my experience from first meeting Emma, our property manager to our experience with the facility was 5 star. there was nothing about the property that was a negative except maybe having to walk or drive to the dumpster for the trash, and recycling. the club house, pool, gym, and even the grounds were pristine. You would have thought we... were living at the Ritz Carlton properties. Our apartment was wonderful, the closet space a savior coming from a large home. We had the 2 bedroom on the 4 floor with vaulted ceilings made the space look twice a large. Again Emma and the staff were accommodating, I even had a place to charge my electric vehicle.

The bulk of the rating goes to Linda and Daniel in the leasing office. We lived at Ten Trumbull for 13 months. Had to move out due to a relocation.

Linda stands out as far as our experience with leasing consultants go. The day we moved in, there were a few things that were not in order with our unit. (To be fair, I blame most of it on the pandemic pre-vaccine). Our water filter on the brand new refrigerator had not been installed and the super was off for the day. Linda collected some bottled... water from the clubhouse, and personally brought them to our unit. Win!

We took advantage of the Cinema Room frequently. If some item from the amenity space was missing, Linda was on it immediately.

Daniel joined the team after a few months of us living there. He was a great addition to the team!! Linda had already established as our go-to person however.

You will see some reviews out there about the construction and parking issues. Yea, there were some. The pandemic delayed install of the carports and they were put in (major project by the way) over the course of about 4 months.

You will also see some reviews out there about conditions of the complex. Most of the problems are because of inconsiderate and lazy neighbors. Not necessarily the office's fault, but probably could have done a little more to enforce the rules and fines for those neighbors.

Now that most of the major projects that were delayed because of the pandemic are done at this brand new community, I see that they are trying to get the little things right, consistently.

The trash and recycle area is a bit small for the number of people in the complex, that is biggest complaint in the community. More picks ups and enhanced weekend coverage would be beneficial. Include the amenity fee, one carport, and one assigned space in the rent. Feels less like being nickle and dimed.

I've been here for over seven months now, and I have to say that this place is spotless!! Living in a clean and well-kept environment is essential for me, and Ten Trumbull has it. The staff here is very welcoming and open to working with the residents, quick response, and ability to deliver.

We have been here for seven months and really love it! The apartment is comfortable and new and the complex offers great amenities! We utilize the fitness center and shared work space almost daily. The office staff is very helpful and are always looking for ways to make the lives of the residents better through what they can offer. This is an excellent place to be. The complex is always clean and well kept.
