Upon graduating from the ICJC in Kansas, DeWayne joined the U.S. Navy and was honored with the American Spirit Award. After surviving a plane crash and three overseas deployments he was Honorably Discharged and returned to Kansas State University where he 'tested the real estate market.' While attending college he sold twelve homes in his first 45 days and 2 years later he opened the first of five real estate companies. DeWayne knows "what's hot" and "what's not" in the real estate market. He has been voted a "Five Star Gulf Shore Life Agent' in Naples Gulf Shore Magazine for the last 14 years. Having completed over seventy professional real estate and mortgage courses, he encourages all agents to be a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and as a Certified Exchange Counselor (CEC), he also promotes the use of self-directed IRAs to invest in the real estate market.
