Serenity at Lake Wales

The fire alarm system has been broken here for a year. For long periods of time it has been completely turned off or emitted 24/7 high pitched alarm. The box is attached to my living room wall and can be heard all the way back to my bedroom and bathroom (and kitchen and living room, and sunroom/workspace). The continued response from the office is that they are “working on it” and “waiting for parts”. The fire marshal has informed me that they are in serious violation of fire codes…it remains... unfixed. In addition, they’ve changed payment/billing systems 3 times since being here. The current system has had inaccurate totals between both the Home Screen and the payment history as well sends inaccurate billing emails (none of these match btw so wrong in 3 different ways). I have notified the office at least three times and not only have they not fixed it, they never acknowledged the issue.

I’ve lived here at Serenity since March of 2024 and I feel so at peace and safe. The people are here. The property manager, Laura is absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond! And that pool it’s amazing!!!

the noise is out of hand and nothing is done about it, the office turns a blind eye to it. the trash is at the front of the building and
it builds up, with old Furniture and on the weekends the trash builds up until Sunday when the valet trash guys come around to pick up the trash. then there is the speeding cars and trucks that come through the complex even though there are speed bumps they still fly through the complex and the manger will not do anything about it. during the collage school... term the pool is pretty much unusable due to the drinking throwing of footballs and more people then allowed, and once again the mgr will not do anything about the drinking in the pool and the horseplaying . if you are looking to live in the dump of dumps then this is the place for you. other wise its over price and poorly ran. This is far from luxury. This is just another cheaply made, poorly managed complex that's flooding Polk County. I hate it here.

this management staff has no customer service, starting with the community manager. She is extremely rude. During my move in date, she had her entire family such as kids and husband there. While I was signing the papers, she was arguing with her husband and her children screening at her telling her to stop arguing. my apartment was extremely dirty which took hours to clean up
