Estates at Park Avenue

Don’t bother wasting your time playing phone tag with these people. I’ve called numerous times over different days trying to reach someone in the leasing office to discuss available units and no one answers… ever. The AI assistant is terrible and takes forever to make selections. Once I finally received a call back, they didn’t even bother leaving a voicemail or identifying who they were. Tried calling back immediately and some low-energy little girl barely answered the phone and sounded... confused and tired the whole time… at 10:30am… if they can’t effectively communicate with active prospects and new residents, how do you think they would respond to a service request or issues with a unit? The staff’s interactions are a sign of the future and you can get a feel for the skills lacking simply from the initial interaction. The reviews seem to all echo the same consensus: poor management. I’ve been waiting for over four months to get my agreed-upon deposit back, and the process has been a nightmare. They keep telling me the accounting department has mailed it, yet it’s apparently been "lost in the mail" three times. The customer service is atrocious—calls go unanswered, emails are ignored, and the office staff seems to do whatever they please with no regard for tenants. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I don't know who is writing 5 Star reviews on here, unless it's management themselves, because every resident I have talked to shares the same frustrations with management and the property.

Once you're a resident management ignores (almost) all phone calls, emails, and voicemails regarding resident concerns until you physically take time out of your day to go into the office when they are there. So you will be 90% on your own with pretty much everything.

The amount of fees you will pay extra... monthly on top of your seemingly low base rent are insane, you would end up paying the same total for a much nicer apartment communities base rent, without the extra fees.

The landscaping team is careless and blows debris on patios without cleaning up. The landscape is also poorly taken care of.

Maintenance will trash your apartment when completing any request, and without communication to you until it is completed, even if you request a call back prior to entry to discuss the issue. You will be cleaning up after them (debris, dirt, paint chips etc.).

I'm sure there are more things to be aware of prior to moving here, but this has been my experience, and the experience of other residents that I have spoken to.

Not only is this property amazing, but the maintenance team deserves a 10 star review. I have been a resident for over 10 years. Reason being is that there is not another community that I would rather reside. The staff is has always been friendly and thorough with responding to any questions. The entire maintenance team has such a personal presence with the residents. Never without a smile or a kind wave as they monitor the property. A special shout out to "Rob" for taking the time to... expedite some recent requests. You do need to be aware that "rent" is just the base rate and you are looking at $100+ in additional fees. However, the complex is quiet and safe. The managers are actually in the office if you need to drop by. The buildings are clean, organized, and very comfortable. I will be sad to move out in the next couple of months.
