Bradford Pointe

The plumbing in this 30+ year-old unit is so bad that I can only reliably use one of the two toilets because both have repeatedly overflowed. Imagine coming home after working all day, only to have your toilet overflow and then having to clean up the mess and disinfect right before dinner. This happened at least twice a week!

Maintenance has come out multiple times and snaked the toilets, but the problem keeps coming back within days. At one point, I literally had to clean up my young son’s... waste after the toilet overflowed. Because of this, we now only use one toilet, keep a plunger nearby at all times, and my 5-year-old has to tell me every time he uses it so I can try to stop it from overflowing.

On top of that, the unit came with a washer and dryer, and I was told I could not bring my own for this apartment. Now the dryer provided is broken and has been for nearly a month! There is also no laundry facility on site, yet I am still paying full rent for this dryer and 2 bathrooms.

There have been other issues as well, but these alone should tell you enough. Please pay attention to the other negative reviews. Living here has been stressful, frustrating, and not worth the money, or the gamble hoping your experience might be like the few positive reviews listed here.

Oh and I actually tried 2 different units here. The first unit had a hole somewhere allowing bees in through the kitchen (like, seriously one day there were 9 of them), and I actually left that unit for an entirely different reason, just to end up in another bad unit. The apartment is trash, molds and leakage from the pipes and floor, weed smell, bugs and severe heat. There are far better and newer apts in Augusta for that price. The worst is them mandating you to pay them a month rent after move out and wanting you to fix the apartment for them sending the bill to collector. Everyone in the office are chronic liars. Do not rent from them they are horrible.

They NEVER answer the phone. I’ve been trying to reach someone for days and I can’t reach anyone or get anyone to reach out to me about a time sensitive matter!

Most ground level Apts have flood issues & smell of mildew is constant outside. A large construction site ripped down the woods & ugly chain link fences surround about 90% of perimeter. The land between apartments & fence is not landscaped or maintained - just gravel, dirt & mud.

Were are going on our 3rd year living at Bradford Pointe Apartments and overall it has been a great place to live. I dont have any problems with my neighbors. These are definitely the nicest apartments Ive lived in since I moved to Georgia. Thank you to the staff at Bradford Pointe Apartments for making us feel so welcomed and really trying to stay on top of things in these trying times.
