Meet Mildred, a charming historic home built in 1889! With four bedrooms and 3.5 baths, each upstairs bedroom has its own full bath, including a master en-suite, making it perfect for families, grandparents, or business travelers. Feel at home in this short walk to the Chattahoochee Riverwalk, restaurants, and shops, just 1.5 miles south of downtown Columbus.
This historic blue beauty has a fully fenced yard with original wrought iron fencing in front. The front gate opens to a short walkway up a small flight of stairs to the partial wraparound brick front porch. The front door opens to a foyer area. To the right is the staircase leading upstairs, and to the left is the main living space, with the formal dining room with seating for 8 straight ahead. To the left in the living room, there is a 70" SmartTV and ample seating for the entire family. The original center fireplace remains now for decorative purposes only. The living room wraps around this fireplace, and the other side has a large dining area with farmhouse style dining table. Off the main living area is a true "chef's kitchen" with a modern range and oven. The kitchen has back door access to the back deck and fenced yard. This home features four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The main floor bedroom has two full beds. This bedroom does not have a true door, but a curtain has been installed for privacy. The master bedroom has a king bed and full en-suite bathroom with tub and SmartTv. The third bedroom has a queen bed with SmartTV, and the fourth bedroom has another queen bed, twin bed, and SmartTV. All bedrooms have dressers with plenty of storage for clothing, and there are two more full bathrooms upstairs.
This home is pet friendly with a fee. A pack 'n play/travel crib and a vacuum are available upon request.
Located just 15 mins from Fort Moore, this home is in the heart of uptown Columbus in a great location walkable to a variety of different attractions and dining options. While many homes have been completely renovated and restored, there are several homes on the block that are still awaiting loving owners to bring them back to their full beautiful potential. It is located about 1.5 miles south of downtown Columbus, and .4 miles directly east of the Coca Cola Space Science Center, and .8 miles south of the Riverwalk. Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area. If you choose to drive, there are two parking spots available on-site.
Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 7 AM. If our cleaning crew reports any signs of smoking cigarettes, vapes, e-cigs, pipes, etc. (smell, ash, etc.) in or around the home, an automatic $500 damage charge will be incurred. The same charge applies if cigarette butts are found outside of the home. If marijuana is smoked in or around the home a $500 fee will be charged, and details about the reservation may be turned over to the appropriate authorities. Parties are prohibited at the home. Other events are permitted at the home only with prior approval. If you violate quiet hours and disturb the neighbors, your reservation will be canceled; you will be required to leave the property immediately and you will not be eligible for any refunds. You will be responsible for any damage to the home or its furnishings during your stay. Please bag all trash and place it in the bins provided. There is a $100 charge for third party trash removal if an excessive amount of trash is left at the property. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this.
