Algonquin Apartments

Only good thing about living here is the neighborhood and view of the lake. Other than that... RUN. I've been here for two years and made the horrible mistake of renewing my lease for another year.
The washer and dryers are constantly breaking. The common areas are consistently dirty, elevators are always breaking, packages are ALWAYS stolen, and management will be ZERO help. They never answer their phones, YOU have to follow up with management on requests and emails you've made since they don't... do their jobs.
Still can't pay my rent because their new app is not working at the moment. The good thing I would note is that you can't really hear your neighbors much-only when you're in the hallways.
Other than that, they're pretty AWFUL.

Very nice luxury apartment but too expensive for the size of the apartment. Very limited storage space and very cold in the winter.

I love living here. The neighborhood is quiet and convient. We're modern style large spaces apartments. Great updated kitchens and bathrooms. Only problem is price. It is expensive for south Chicago!

The Algonquin is a wonderful group of apartments. It is managed by MAC Apartments. The building is very clean, and the management staff is friendly. There are only five apartments per floor. Although this may seem small, having a small number of people on each floor cuts down on the noise on each floor. It is really a great environment to live in.
