This is not only the worst apartment I have ever seen but the worst all of my friends and family have seen. The management is completely unresponsive, the building is literally falling apart ( my ceiling collapsed TWICE), it is massively overpriced, there are bugs, tons of erroneous charges, the public areas are dirty, the power cuts out randomly, the warm water will go out randomly, and the listings online are deceptive (your actual apartment will be much smaller). Beachwalk Apartments has fast maintenance, a fantastic location right next to Lincoln Park, and good amenities.

I would not recommended this place to anyone. Location and rent price are good, but your unit itself will have issues. Ongoing pest issues that will not be fixed correctly, thin walls in bathroom where you can hear neighbors clearly, unit having multiple issues before I even moved in, and more contribute to the bad living experience here. I was told there were no bugs and have dealt with cockroaches since day 1. Maintenance came by to “fix” the exposed pipes under my kitchen sink by making a... mess and getting expanding foam all over my personal belongings. When I saw how messy of a job that was, and knowing that quickly spraying something wouldn’t fix the issue, the next thing they did was use duct tape. Many issues with the apartment that show lack of care. Broken drawers, slanted cabinets, holes in baseboard, cracks in flooring, I can go on. Beachwalk Apartments is a cozy apartment complex right next to Lincoln Park. Anything you would need is only a short walk and even shorter drive away.

Very small, poorly maintained, expensive and unresponsive management in the almost one year I’ve lived here. Nice location but really overpriced and terrible landlords.
